The company begins
Fashtex Textiles (OPC) Private Limited is registered in Hyderabad, to supply bed and bath linen to hospitality, healthcare and educational institutions ordering in bulk rather than in ones and twos.

Fashtex is taken into WE Hub, the Government of Telangana's incubator for women entrepreneurs and the first state-led incubator of its kind in India.
Recognised by DPIIT
The company is recognised as a startup under Startup India by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.

The Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India seed funds the business, backing a woman-led manufacturer working with mills across the country.

Fashtex supplies hotels, resorts, guest houses and distributors as a registered textile exporter, shipping worldwide from Hyderabad — and publishes the full range, with its specifications, at fashtextextiles.com.
